Cremaschi Furlotti

La Ronciere

Cremaschi Furlotti

Chile's geographic barriers—the Atacama Desert to the north, the Andes Mountains to the east, the Patagonian ice fields to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west—has made Chile known as a viticultural paradise.

The Peñasco Vineyard is located in the Loncomilla Valley, a unique terroir where the soil and climate is exceptionally favorable for crafting natural and pure grapes into distinctive and elegant wines.

In this paradise you can find Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Nebbiolo. New grapevine plantations will be made in the 400 ha of land that includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Gray Sauvignon, Alicante Bouchet and Cot Rouge.

The Cremaschi Furlotti wines are a testimony of the quality of  the land, made by selecting the best grapes cultivated in the Peñasco Vineyards in the Loncomilla Valley. The wines express the unique harmony between the magic of the environment, the natural work in the vineyard and the friendly interaction with the man.

Cremaschi Furlotti is a winery that blends Italian heritage, a long winemaking tradition, state of the art technology and a profound knowledge of the Peñasco Vineyard terroir. Orientated to the selective and careful productions that guarantee excellence and quality of their products. Driven by the care of the environment have been used in the production and processing, biodegradable and organic products exclusively selected.

La Ronciere

La Ronciere is a family business winery, founded in 1949. boutique winery, producing controlled quantities, with no intention to industrialize production that may affect the processes and by thus quality of the wines.

Additionally, we are a modern company, concerned about the environment and respectful of clean production standards, todays required worldwide.
We are constantly innovating and developing new wine proposals. This is how our first sparkling wine is already resting in our cellars, waiting for the perfect moment to be released in 2012.

We create our wines from a modern school, being rebellious and avant-garde. We wanted to break with some traditions and myths misused today. The first “producing wines only with our own production”. At La Ronciere we have opened our cellars and went out to “walk Chile”, looking for a superior quality existing in new and unknown terroirs, which has given us grapes with extraordinary and unexpected quality.
We believe in the natural balance, in the pure expression of nature. We seek and respect what the vine can give us year by year, considering the different soils as an important variable in the complexity and quality of our wines. The coastal areas and Andean foothills are the main origins of our grapes.
Thus, for example our Chardonnays come from Quebrada Seca in the northern Valley of Limarí. The Sauvignon Blanc is from Cuartel 21 in Casablanca. Our Cabernet Sauvignons come from Puente Negro in Colchagua and El Mariscal in Alto Maipo Valley. The Shiraz is from the Millahue zone in Cachapoal Valley, thus each micro Valley Chile provide us its natural perfection.

…NO More RESERVES

Another concept that we have changed are the appellations or names of the wines, which today have lost their original value due to the misuse of some producers, causing ultimately confusion to consumers. Therefore, we will not longer use expressions such as Reserve, Grand Reserve, Varietals, Classic, etc.. Today we want that the wine speak for itself and be recognized by its original inspiration, then obility of the terroir and the winemaker's passion, who defines the concept of his wine as follows:

QUiRÓN:
Terroir
NUDO: Trilogy of varieties, valleys and barrels
MOUSAI: The best expression of each valley in a single variety
CANTOALBA: The best selection of our own vineyards
CHAKU: True representative of the style of Chilean wines

Therefore, we are pleased to introduce the new family of La Ronciere wines and we trust, be a pleasant experience for you to discover...
